Well it is that time again for a New Playlist. In this months Playlist-24 it will mark 2 years of The Collective Loop putting together playlists for your enjoyment. When creating a playlist for the month, it's actually a lot of fun. Finding new bands and new sounds and the enjoyment of making Playlist covers have all been a great experience. The weather is getting warmer here in Florida and the first things that come to mind is Skimboarding and Surfing. It's always exciting to get out there and show your skill but if no one is around to take photo's or video what do you do? Well here is your answer. Get the new HD Surf Hero ($269). The Surf Hero is the worlds only 1080p HD on-board video and still photo surfing camera. It has professional quality 1080p / 960p / 720p HD resolutions recording at 30 and 60 frames per second (60 fps in 720p). Easily mounts to any surfboard in seconds. It also can shoot 5MP photos automatically every 2 seconds while you surf. So no more trying to hold on to that waterproof camera and fumbling around and lose your ride cause of your camera. The batteries last for over 2.5 hours of HD video or automatic photo taking on a 32GB SD card (not included), so you can document your entire surf with a single push of the shutter button on the paddle out.

There is something nostalgic about a motel pool that looks empty or deserted. J. Bennett Fitts a photographer now based in LA started a great series called: No Lifeguard on Duty. His series gives us an insight into some of the motels and public pools in the Los Angeles area, and explores the decline of these sites and there abandonment.

His style of photography seems to be of artificial landscapes and just the sheer emptiness and wonder that still lurks. When you look at the photos it makes you take a step back and wonder what was happening in the past and how it got to the present. It quite fascinating if you take that approach. My buddy was in town last weekend and while he was here we decided to throw together a dubstep mix. It was a one time run through so there maybe some mistakes but there is no mistaking that this mix is raw and dirty. The Vita Audio R4 Music System is a beautifully designed sound system, with it's use of a wood frame. It gives it a 70'ish feel to it. It's quality is better then a generic looking dock system with speakers. The Vita Audio R4 Music System ($975) delivers, with a slot-loading CD player, DAB, DAB+ and FM tuners, a top-mounted universal dock, a USB port for playing back music from a thumb drive or hard drive, front and rear auxiliary inputs, an integrated active subwoofer, 80 watts of power output, a docking "RotoDial" remote control. It also comes in gorgeous walnut, white, or gloss black body.

What can say other than this is a beautiful bike. The Cyclone ($2,121) is definitely a head-turner, designed for fast, comfortable rides. What catches most of the attention is the frame of the bike which leaves the saddle almost looking like its floating. All the bikes made are handcrafted out of stainless steel and are made to order. Orginially the Cyclone was made by Herman Vanhulsteijn 2 years ago for personal use and people started asking for their own, Vanhulsteijn is now kicking them out for production. Brian Messana is the designer of the tank house. It was renovated from a loft in New York. This beautiful tank house has a stylish interior design. There are also several rooms that are nothing but awesome. This loft has been polished and the walls have been plastered and waterproofed. This unique architecture when viewed from the outside looks like a large tube tank that use to store millions of gallons of water but now contains a living space. Scrabble is an old classic loved by many but something was lacking and that was a beautiful design. Andrew Clifford Capener decided to change that with his A-1 Scrabble Designer Edition. The idea was to excite people about typography by giving them the ability to choose what font their scrabble set would come in. The set would be available in the font of your choice or with an assorted font pack. Additional font packs (including your favorite font) could be ordered through Scrabble’s website. The scrabble board and interior box are made out of solid walnut, and the exterior box is made from birch. Each of the 6 board pieces is magnetized to fit together perfectly and each piece slides nicely into its respective slot in the box and is secured by interior magnets as well. The interior of the exterior box as well as the bottoms of the 6 board pieces are lined with cork, to protect them while in use.”

Are you that guy? Do you have all the apple products. Do like anything with an "i" in front of it. Then check out the Polyply which most would want to call it the iEverything. The stand which was designed by Andrew Kim holds iEverything in a manner that makes it easy to charge and orient as secondary (and subsequent) display. It was constructed out of acrylate polymer (acrylic plastic), birch plywood & birch. It holds an iPad, iPod Classic, iPhone 4 and a stylus. So let me know if you would rock this.
