Seems that Sega will be take a note from Nintendo and preparing to join the retro console market with a small sized recreation of the Sega Genesis mini ($TBA). Built using technology from AtGames, the Sega Genesis Mini promises a plug-and-play return to the days of 16-bit graphics. Details are limited, but you can expect a that it will have all the Sonic games, a rewind feature like the previous Flashback model, and maybe a cartridge slot, although the latter is still TBD. These are some ingenious notepads designs by Triad, a Japanese company that makes architectural models. The Omoshiro Block (or “fun block”) is made with laser-cutting technology and contains hidden objects and scenes that only become visible as the paper is used. The blocks are composed of over 100 sheets of paper and each sheet is different from the next in the same way that individual moments stack up together to form a memory. The emerge almost like an excavated treasure from an archaeological dig, some of the more elaborate versions feature notable Japanese architecture like Kyoto’s Kiyomizudera Temple and Tokyo Tower.

I seem to have a love for anthropomorphic design. The way that animals can look interesting or awesome with human bodies. I quite enjoy this series of minimal and pop color for architectural structures.  This series was created by Ali Sahba who wanted to take the mimialistic approach with colors and show Hamburg a German city appear in a new and original way.  To see more of his work and other projects check him out on Behance.
