I am one who enjoys looking for new fonts that can make my document or art look more attractive or stand out more. So today I thought I would share a few websites in which you will be able to start building or adding to your font collection. DaFont is one of my personal favorite websites that not only gives me a huge number of fonts to download. The fonts presented on this website are their authors’ property, and are either freeware, shareware, demo versions or public domain. The licence mentioned above the download button is just an indication. Please look at the readme-files in the zips or check the indicated author’s website for details, and contact him/her if in doubt.

Abstractfonts is one of the largest website in offering free fonts to its users. Currently they are offering over 12,933 free fonts and still growing. Each of the fonts has a customizable string preview, character map, member comments, similar fonts as well as a font info tab with all kinds of helpful information about the font.
