The
Terrarium Floor Lamp is a neat and stylish idea and was created by
Autumn Workshop. Here is their idea put in there own words:
The terrarium floor lamp emerged from experimentation with two things: touch dimming lamps and terrarium lamps. The goal was to merge the two in a unique way that would provide a larger upright lamp with the pleasant functionality of adjusting the brightness with a touch of the finger. You need only tap the steel bar to select one of four brightness levels, which is an elegant and ergonomic solution to the floor lamp switch.
The terrarium floor lamp was prototyped and handmade from walnut and maple. Autumn Workshop created a limited run of three of these lamp and they didn't provide a price, but I'm sure if your interested a quick email is all you need to construct.
It has been a while, but I'm proud to provide the next volume of
TCL Mixtape Series mixed by
DJ Glazye. DJ Glazye is another friend of mine from good old Ohio. He has provided a sick and wonderful journey through some
Glitch Hop. He was even kind enough to provide a
little background for all of you readers out there and this is what he had to say:
I started djing back in 97, I play Glitch-Hop, Breaks, DnB, House. Most of the music I play is Glitch Techy influences. I came up in the NE Ohio Electronic Music scene. Some of the artist I like include Stephan Jacobs, Blunt Instrument, Dj Shadow, Tim Ismag, Myselor, Opiou, Koan Sound, AMB, Culprate, and Jpod to name a few.
This set was recorded live at The Lounge in Akron, Ohio last month at a party called "
Next Stop Detroit" to get party people ready for
DEMF and he was nice enough to share. So get your listening on and start downloading away.

The
Bicycle Can Cage ($64) made by
WalnutStudiolo could just very well be my next bike accessory purchase. Who doesn't want a quick and easy way to get to that PBR or Soda? This light and rigid can cage for your bike is made out of fine leather, and has a snug fit to it. The rigid leather is hand-stitched together to be structurally sound. Cans stay snug in the can cage even after a rugged off road tour.
Bring a can of soda (or beer, or juice) along for the ride. A flat can of Coke has been called the racing cyclist's "secret weapon" - the quick jolt of sugar and caffeine is perfect to get you up the last few hills. - WalnutStudiolo
Comes ready to install with three clamps to connect the cage to the bicycle: two on the handlebar and one around the stem spacers.
