I'm hoping it comes in more colors than pink but I got to give it to Yeongkeun Jeong who designed the Reel.  It basically transforms the main triangle of the bike frame into a spot for your belongings. The silicone stickers are attached onto the frame and the elastic band is wound up between them. Unlike common bicycle accessories, the flexibility of the band allows the user to express their style by customizing the shape of Reel.

I just stumbled onto these sweet recycled tape cassette and film reel portraits by artist Erika Iris. Here is what she said about her series that I found to be true and interesting.

In this series I showcase a number of portraits of musicians made out of recycled cassette tape with original cassette. Also included are portraits made from old film and reels. The idea comes from a phrase (ironically) coined by philosopher Gilbert Ryle, a description of how your spirit lives in your body. I imagine we are all, like cassettes, thoughts wrapped up in awkward packaging.

This micro cabin nicknamed "Nido", was built overlooking a lake in Finland and was built and designed by Robin Falck. It's a 96 sq ft cabin with a 50 sq ft loft space that houses the bed and stores clothes.  In the building of this micro cabin they were able to use mostly recycled materials, the entire cabin was built for around $10,500 plus labor. Andrea Manzati is the creator of the space travel series that was created for Fast Company magazine and was displayed as a full page illustration. I can see why it got a full page just look at the detail and concept of future ideas of spaceships. I'm digging the series also due to the color palette choice and also cause it has to do with space.  Who doesn't like space?  Check out more of Andrea work on Behance

Their is something to be said about fashion and technology that works and provides style at the same time. The folks at Art Lebedev are people who care and they come up with the craziest and best ideas, the Bulavkus USB flash drive. An interesting mix between design, tech and fashion, the Bulavkus is a simple safety pin with a flash drive on it.  It spares you from digging through your pockets but it looks like something that can get lost very easily, but I still want one.
