I found this to be an interesting way to label and design your alcoholic beverages. Over the last decades innumerable flawless ideas and unique solutions have emerged for the packaging of alcoholic beverages and for the label's graphical design. In this project the designers of the Remember the Lion brand therefore included a new idea in this field, using a material which has undiminished popularity since the Bauhaus - concrete. In the execution of the product the designers with the help of technical experts have developed a manufacturing process, which can be effectively integrated in the bottle's labeling procedure. You can check back on the website to get more information on the process.
Brandon Todd Wilson is the creator behind The Numbers Project where he will make a new number everyday for 2013. Here is a little bit on what he said about the project:
"So it only took me 100 days to do, ha but the numbers project has its own little micro-site so that its easier to check them all out. Really as a way to make sure i'm not doing something I've already done. I also made it mobile friendly thanks to bootstrap so that's cool i think, so here is the numbers project’s new home."Below are a few of the ones that caught my eye, although there are a whole bunch more. Check out more of Brandon's work here.

Irina Blok took on a challenge of redesigning condom packaging to get out the message of protecting your junk. Here was the challenge:
"We are looking for a Next Generation Condom that significantly preserves or enhances pleasure, in order to improve uptake and regular use. Additional concepts that might increase uptake include attributes that increase ease-of-use for male and female condoms, for example better packaging or designs that are easier to properly apply."She wanted to answer the challenge of reinventing condoms from a graphic design perspective. Perhaps the biggest problem with condoms is the boring packaging, and not the actual product. Creating compelling artwork could encourage people around the world to actually use these." This is how Irina Blok announced to take Bill Gates up on his challenge to design the 'next generation condoms' by redesigning packaging. What do you think?

Since it is so close to Valentines day how about a post about a love hate relationship of heroes and villains. Dan Matutina (Twisted Fork) created Versus/Hearts to show that rivals hate each other, but deep inside they know they couldn't exist without the other. Check out more of his work or a previous post about him on TCL: Dan Matutina: A Designer & Illustrator

There is something about Illustrations that always find a spot of interest in my love for art. The rich dark color tones and the imagination of others.
UK based illustrator Luke Twyman has sparked my interest with the release of some of his new illustrations that I like to think have a winter/snow midnight type feel to them. These icy landscapes have a texture to them that gives an almost calming and silent feel and I look forward to seeing more work by Twyman.

Daily shape is (yet another) daily project by (yet another) designer Jac (jacinabox) and she has been creating random shapes every day for the past 3 months now. There are a few restrictions placed on this daily project, and they are…
- Only basic shapes and patterns.
- Must take less than 10 minutes to create.
- No frills, vectors, textures, gradients or other fancy business.
Below are just a few that I picked out. You can see more on her site. If interested as well you can get some printed out.

Matthew Olin is the creator behind this series of Superhero Typographic Posters for his MFA Thesis Exhibition back in 2011. Here is what he had to say about this series.
"The most distinguishing factor of any font is its characters. Hidden beneath these characters, each typeface also has character—its own unique characteristics. However classified this information may seem, when used correctly, typefaces often speak to us more powerfully than the words that are written with them."What I like most about these posters is the definition of the use of the font but it also goes along with each character that is being designed. I have only added a few see the rest here on Behance.

I'm sure a lot of you out there have been enjoying the Olympic's but I have got to say that I'm very disappointed in the branding and graphic design aspect of this years Olympics. So I have found some alternative poster designs for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Hope you enjoy.

Came across some of Matthew DiVito a.k.a Mr. Div work on iso50 and had to share some of them. It's like you get lost in the animated motion .gifs and it seems like I'm not the only one. I only added some that I thought were awesome but check out his site to see more.
