Hope that everyone had a good Easter and that the Easter Bunny didn't scare the crap out of you. I got some Easter design motivation over the weekend so I thought I would share it with you all.
So I thought I would find something interesting to write about on this Monday. I stumbled upon Stukenborg's Letterpress Dice Prints. Each pattern is built by laying dice, one by one, on the bed of the letterpress and rolling ink directly onto the face of the dice for each impression. It looks to be very time consuming and well planned out before each dice is laid out. Here are some of the final prints. It’s amazing how many different patterns can be made with just dice. If your interested he does have prints available for sale. Check out his site.

Welcome to the new installment of the playlist series with Playlist-11 Compiled by Damion. In this playlist I have included some upbeat songs with some interesting piano synth sounds in a lot of the tracks that give each song a unique appeal. I would advice though to check out the last song "That White Girl" by Track Rockers Ent. It was written by Raybones and Produced by Mic Vicious. It currently is a promo track that as of yet is an untitled project by Raybones. Raybones and his partner Mic Vicious, the two collaborated on Raybone's first EP Dirty White Boy; together, the pair established Track Rockers, a dynamic duo who creates original beats and lyrics. Mic Vicious is actually a good friend of mine who is very talented in the producer arena. This man can put together a nice hip hop track for your listening pleasure. If you want to check out more by Raybones and Mic Vicious then check out their Myspace pages. If you want to check out any of the other playlist then click on Archived Playlist in this post or on the right hand side of this blog.

Here is what I took and with a little use of Photoshop these are my results. Let me know what you think?
I will be unable to do any blog post this coming week due to vacation. I will be returning on Nov 13th and will continue posting more great posts upon the return from my vacation. In the mean time enjoy this picture I took a couple weeks ago on my way to work.

Pandora has a contest going on right now to find out what does the new American Music look like? This is Pandora's 3rd Annual Poster Contest with the help of Levi's® Company.
The goal was pretty simple: create a poster about Pandora - the rest is up to your imagination. So I thought why the hell not. I wanted to give this a shot and see what my imagination had in store for me. Plus it had cash involved as well but that was not my main motivation.
It will take some time for my profile to get setup and my entry validated. Then you the public will have a chance to vote. Here is how the contest will be judged.
Editor's Choice Award Winner – Selected by the In-House Pandora Panel.
Viewer's Choice Award Winner – The entrant whose eligible Entry receives the highest number of eligible votes in the Second Judging Period.
Viewer's Choice Runner-up Award Winner – The entrant whose eligible Entry receives the second-highest number of eligible votes in the Second Judging Period.

This is one of the best representation of a blast from the past. You can't get more modern and retro in the same breath as this. This tape (see below) is an MP3 player that follows the 45/60/90 minutes norm, holding 10/15/20 select songs in digital format. Who doesn't love the Tape. Right?
There are a couple of things regarding this player that really stands out. Like for example, if you want to forward or rewind a song, you need to manually do it by rotating the spools with your finger or pencil. To play just slide the Play Button. Charging it depends how good are you at …you guessed it…rotating the spools! Rotating the second hole of the tape charges the kinetic battery. An LED light indicates the power status: Green-full charge; Amber- Medium Charge; Red- will die out any moment.
Well it has been a minute since my last mixed set. So I decided to make a new one after the idea popped in my head while drinking at the pool. I put together some progressive and dark dirt breaks up in this mix. This set is bound and determined to get your body moving. You can download it at www.damion.scsav.com or click on the cover below.
