Artist
Othman Toma from Baghdad, Iraq, has taken his watercolor skills to the test by painting with melted ice-cream instead of the traditional paint. He paints mini masterpieces with different flavors of ice-cream and popsicle. Talk about a sweet treat!
You can follow him on
Instgram here.
Violaine & Jeremy is a graphic design and illustration studio based in Paris formed by Violaine Orsoni and Jeremy Schneider. These two have collaborated on album covers, design and layout of
Influencia magazine and identity projects. I found that some of their best work is with the graphite drawings of quirky animals with beards of wildlife and other fun characters. You can see more of their work on
Behance.

I stumbled across this artist recently and thought his work was not only inspiring, but a great example on how beautiful upcycled art can be.
Haroshi, a Japanese skateboarder turned artist makes these masterpieces out of old skateboard decks, and even uses broken hardware for the interior of his three dimensional pieces. If you have ever skateboarded, you know how quickly you can accumulate a stack of broken decks. Nothing goes to waste, I like
Haroshi's style. Check out more of his work

Have you seen the Pibal
bicycle crossed with what? A scooter. French designer
Philippe Starck and car company
Peugeot have unveiled a prototype bicycle crossed with a scooter, designed for a free cycle scheme in Bordeaux, France. Good idea. The first 300 units are expected to be manufactured and delivered by Peugeot in June, when they'll be loaned to citizens for Free. I wouldn't mind trying one out, but I don't live France.

I stumbled upon
Reuben Wu and his photography and just like his work in
Ladytron, I was impressed. His images let you get lost in the world that we might not always get a chance to see. Also as you can see from the first image he also did the latest photography session with
Tycho.
About Reuben Wu
"I am a freelance photographer, musician, visual artist and audiovisual director.
My background is in design and music. During my several years in industrial design, I co-founded the electronic group Ladytron in 1999 and subsequently co-wrote and produced five studio albums. My entry into photography was encouraged by an extensive international touring schedule where I was able to document the interesting locations we visited."
Check out all of his work on
Behance or his
website. I know I will be.
